I tried going through Pelican but they don't sell to the public. Went here. They have 15% off.

made a mistake getting an under seat sub. tried it out for a few weeks and then it quit on me. Yes, this amp is 17+ years old, been installed in 3 vehicles, and has pushed and blown its fair share of subs. old girl keeps kicking! I was shocked how good this sub is (jl audio micro 8). (its only rated for 250 rms and 500 max.) The sub really does a good job for the double cab. I really dont need a bigger size. IMG_20191004_211303.jpg IMG_20191004_211354.jpg

No, unfortunately I have been too busy at work.

I was able to find time to after work to get the power tray and accessories all tied in and all cleaned up. So now all I have to do is get it in the truck and wire it up.

This will definitely be this weekends project. It’s killing me looking at it on the work bench every day when I get home.

I still haven’t even had a change to put together the Prinsu yet

I made my own rubber mud flaps out of semi truck flaps. They aren't perfect, but they look pretty good when clean. They also work a little better than I expected keeping the gravel off.20191004_181007.jpg 20191004_180922.jpg

    Tell me about it.

I also picked up a spare hood scoop cover locally that I’m going to end painting flat black. I was going to just wrap mine, but couldn’t pass it up for the price. That way if I don’t like it I can just put the MGM one back on.

I’ll just add it to the never ending list

Plastidip for almost a year. Had to respray twice after going through the car wash. Stopped doing that. Haven't had to spray since.20190216_125032.jpg

I know I may get some hate for this but:

tldr; Made concept mock-up for custom rotopax mount.

So my bed cover isn't designed to function (can't open or close without removing rotopax) when a rotopax is mounted in the most obvious location (behind wheel well in front of cubby). Not complaining, most folks who use rotopax containers in the bed aren't covering the bed.

So I was trying to sell the container and forget the idea, BUT, decided maybe I'll just move it and try to make the best of it. So I'm thinking about moving it forward a bit more towards wheel well with a custom mount, it'll just sit angled instead of straight front to back. Sooo, I mocked up a really shitty cardboard concept bracket. I'll try to get pics of where I plan on putting it when the sun comes up tomorrow.

Can't decide on one thing though, one gusset in center, or two spaced out? May be overengineering out but I tend to do that alot. Still in concept phase.
