It's been damn near freezing at night. Our summer sucked in general up here though so I'm not surprised

If I can get a few low to mid 40s days and 30ish nights, I'm happy. I can't handle the heat like I use to.

I'd go with whichever is sturdier.

It baffles me that people buy $80 aluminum foil climbers because they don't want want to spend $200 more on a summit.

I'd think ones safety would be worth more than that but to some people maybe not

Both stands are solid. I've used the bowhunter for a long time, it's hard to change. Also, I'm not crazy about the bar that goes across the front of the Summit. But when I put it on a tree in my yard it really dug in. I liked that part.

If I had 10 climbers I would give them all to you...No fan here!! I prefer the hang-on stands and climbing sticks.

I would take them. I started out in a climber back in the day, it's all I know. Also, in most places I hunt you must remove your stand dailyo_O

I'm still rockin' my Loggy Climber I bought it 1997. Folds down to about 6" deep, weighs 14lbs with the hand climber, and when the over-center buckle is locked, solid as hell. Pretty quiet, too. If I take my time. I've climbed down with deer 40-50 yards away and never spooked till I started moving around on the ground. Typically though I'm in a hang-on. Gorilla, Big-Game, Loc-On, with Lone Wolf sticks.

That's about when I bought my API. It weighs 19 with bowholder. Starting to get a little heavy.
