Since I know you're all on the edges of your sofas waiting to hear what happens next, you'll be excited to know that I finally got to speak with the property manager at my complex today about the gas bill after 6 phone calls and 2 in-person visits. We talked through the possible scenarios and got on the same page as far as expectations about what happens next. Maintenance came over while I was here and checked for leaks all around my water heater and the building and found nothing. They showed me my meter at a dead standstill and we watched it slowly roll over as the heater kicked on. They said the building meter was barely moving at all when they checked there.

We are still waiting to hear back from corporate sometime early next week :frusty:, but it's looking to me like an allocation issue. A failing thermostat is still a possibility...but the timing of all this coinciding with the new owner take over is too much of a coincidence. Every apartment complex does it differently, but here I receive a share of the entire complex's common gas usage for heating the pool and main office building and bullshit like that...pretty typical and not my first rodeo with that deal. My allocation is based on square footage and number of occupants in my apartment. So right now the most logical conclusion is that I have the allocation for a 3000 sq ft apartment with a 2 car garage, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and 5 occupants.

Fun stuff! Thanks for the input and for humoring me and letting me bitch all week. Also...

Can't get a much more perfect fit for that truck.

Amen, sister. Pussy over here too. I've done a lot of stuff alone on my truck recently that I wish I'd gotten help with. Things always go easier with an extra set of hands. Speaking of which...anyone want to help me drop my tcases this weekend?

I'm stubborn and independent and asking for help is incredibly painful for me. But I very rarely regret it when I do

me too. It’s going to get easier after this weekend when I won’t be able to occasionally use my friends garage since my truck will be too tall.

So, who wants to host the next mod-day? I have LCA bushings to replace (need press and maybe torch to get OEM rubbers out), replace CV boots on both sides, replace front leaf spring bushings for greasable ones.

This was the first donut I've had in almost four years. Found out about that time I'm allergic to soy and every foking donut shop uses soy bean oil in their frier :annoyed:

These were so damn good

If you're looking to get out on some dirt for the fall colors, Argentine should be great right now. This was on Guanella Pass today
