Yes, it has an integrated 2” receiver that is hidden behind the license plate. The license plate is on a spring loaded hinge. The trailer plug is relocated under and up inside the bumper to provide max clearance. It takes stock license plate light fixtures. $1250 in April. They have since stopped shipping powder coated steel bumpers. Too many issues with shipping scars. Mine had two scuffs, but hey, it’s not a mall crawler and I will surely do some damage worse than that!

This is not the high clearance bumper which requires fender cutting. This is a direct bolt on replacement for the stock bumper and hitch.

Got another detail finished in my 4x4 conversion. Prerunner harness is missing 2 wires at cluster for these lights soooo... I had to de-pin a Lexus harness connector and file and insert them into connector. Worked first try.

If you don’t already have a build thread on this, you need one. We need one!

Do I just make a quirky title and explain my intentions and expectations of what I want from my tacoma?

I’m interested in how you wired this also. I have @mattgecko hood and bed lights, but I just have one switch for the bed lights. For some reason I can’t get my head around how to wire in the cab also.

maybe nobody cares but ive been trying to figure this out for months. i hated the cheap chinese switches for my heated seats. i bought some oem toyota switches on ebay. cut the pigtails that my truck was partially wired for and spliced them into the besond controller. trouble is figuring out not only the besond wires but the toyota ones too. yes, you read the pic correctly. besond uses a red wire as a ground! i believe im the only person to ever do this as theres no info on it. kinda proud of myself. 15702430102535236726458553143057.jpg

Started over with a ‘15 DCSB recently. Having the windows tinted tomorrow and throwing on some parts I took from my ‘13 this weekend.

Very nice. I have switches for my bed lights (from matt) in both my bed and in cab... but can only use one or the other.... I couldn't figure out how to get them to run together.

    More than I can afford
Not today (been at it a couple of days) but just finished up all of the following:

Rewired existing roof rack light and ARB compressor
Wired existing (but never connected) Baja Designs S2 Pro rear lights
Wired dome light in camper shell (also never connected)
Fabricated brackets for and installed rock lights (cheapie kit that was a gift, been sitting in my parts closet for a couple of years). Me being me, I had to use OEM toyota hardware, nutserts and existing holes in the frame
Kept looking at the space on the front bumper and decided it needed a light bar, so I stole the one off my other truck and threw it on there. It always looked out of place on the other truck anyway.
    Installed dashcam
Fabricated another switch panel plate and installed that. Space off to the left on it will have a 110v outlet eventually.
Reminded myself after the fact that I really should do the foglights anytime mod.

Attached boring pictures of wires and lights...

Looks good. I guess it comes down to how much you want it to stand out. If I color match it pyrite mica it would stand out but not as much as a lighter color. The nice thing is that rattle cans aren't that expensive.
