    I tried foil wrapped in an oven.
    Dunno what I'm doing wrong.
    Though other fishermen have told me that really big trout just ain't as good eating as smaller ones. :notsure:

    Honestly, deep fried channel catfish fillet is my favorite. :thumbsup:
    Panfried trout cooked in butter and chives is a close second. With lemon.

    There is an older guy just across the river in Kansas that has a commercial fishing license and a live well at his house. I used to buy carp from him 25lbs at a time. He would pull it out of the live well, clean and score it the fastest and the best I’ve ever seen. When you cooked it the only bones you ever had was the larger rib bones.
