Yup. Interior lighting is a joke. Got my set of LED's on the way. Should be here Monday.

Interior lighting and a bed mat probably the most bang for the money.

Bed mat was a surprisingly significant upgrade for me. There are spots on the side of my bed that are worn from stuff sliding back and forth on a long road trip I went on. I had the stuff tied down but it still rubbed away material from the sides of the bed. The bed mat fixed that from happening again.

That's pretty amazing. I'm guessing that by going up and down this mountain every day I'm not going to get that same results.

Pretty much the story of my life. Was out installing my switch pro and power tray , and what do you know it starts raining.

Hopefully it will hurry up and pass so I can finish it all up.

Luckily I have a company vehicle if the rain decides to stick around all weekend .. silver lining I guess

Squeezing in some time for the truck this weekend. Took the OEM bed cover off, pulled everything out of the bed, most of it is stuff I thought I needed, because I read here too much! Then swept out the bed, cleaned the bed mat, put the basic essentials back in and reinstalled the cover. I then gave it a much needed washing and vacuuming. Atleast for me, I think I can store most of the "occasionally" needed stuff in totes and throw them in the bed when I think they'll be needed. For me it's a much used daily driver, on occasion a dirt road or tow the fishing boat. Jealous of all that have access to great trails, scenic areas to visit and the time to make it happen. When I'm not working, I'm pretty much an Uber driver for my kids and all their activities, but wouldn't change it for the world. Enjoy the weekend Gents, I'm off to a high school game! As an engineer myself i have to say the proper level of engineering is to engineer against over engineering or under engineering that could result in a failure of incorrectly engineered sample. Hope that shed some light on the issue.

Thanks, they dont provide a template but they have a full installation video. They give measurements on where to cut, it wasn't too bad. Just measure three times cut once. haha. We used a battery powered oscillating tool, you can also use a grinder but the oscillating tool was easier to control.

Noted. For me over is better than under. Slightly different perspective but enough is better than not enough. I always prefer to aire on the the side of caution. It's the machinist in me that's always trying to make good better. My wife calls it a curse!

I made it. I bought the skull on eBay and deconstructed the TRD knob and put the two together to make sure the leather boot clicked on the skull like the standard shifter.
