    No. We discount seniors and active duty military if they get their special permits (for free). They get 1/2 off camping and free day use. But to meet the senior criteria you gotta be 62 and older.

    Since you're up there and camp where you camp, see about the "America the Beautiful" pass and see if it applies to you and your areas. It may save you some money if your stars align.

    I have that pass - get one every year. Doesn't do anything for camping fees but with mulitple trips to Yellowstone, Grand Teton and Glacier every year I definitely get my $80 worth. Those three parks each have a $35 weekly or $70 annual fee....I think I'm up to a total of 10 trips so far this year. The only non NPS perk that I've been able to get from the pass is half price day use at a ID state park.

    We hear very little about the state park perks, but some do. It doesn't work at all fed parks either, depending on the level of amenities. We're considered "expanded amenities" so it doesn't quite meet the criteria but we do honor it. There's always that "fine print". But get everything you can out of it. That's what it's for. It seems I'm always pushing people to get a better deal than the yellow envelopes.

    I just talked with my Doctor and they mentioned after opening up the knee that shimming was the best option . He mentioned I should be downstairs in rehab by Wednesday

    He did order muscle relaxers so my leg will stop cramping up and stronger pain meds
