Finished installing the AJT vent rings today. The new design is a little more involved but they look great.

Next up will be puddle pods, speakers, and map and dome lights. I also have one vintage style tailgate badge I am still undecided on whether or not to attach it.

 

I did the same thing with painters tape especially around the corners under the tail lights. Got it on by myself and everything went together pretty nicely only problem I had was with the trailer light plug harness. Not enough slack in the wiring to flip the plug to the vertical position. Got on there but its tight, had to loosen things up along the frame to get it to work. Later a member gave me a great tip for a wiring extension from etrailer. Just got it should do the trick but I still have to install it, maybe this weekend!

Probably not but use the gears to down shift. That's what I do with my AT.

Great. Already have one of those and a fresh blade ready to go. Might just have to practice getting a straight line on a different part of the plastic bumper first. It’s gonna all be trash anyway. Just don’t want to end up with an uneven monster gap in there

 

Did you have to adjust yours? I need to adjust mine, just can't figure out how to do it. Tried searching, but can't find anything. Even on Morimoto's site...

It’s a Wow, I’d love to see my rig that well equipped one day, but know if I’m really lucky I’ll only get about 70% there. I love it!

So this is what I'm thinking of sorts, this general location atleast. It works for my needs I think. Still needs tweaking, still a work in progress.

 

I may have to pick up that Curt connector.
I want to see if I can pull the existing harness through the looms some first to see if I can get enough slack so I don't need the additional connector.

 

Awesome... why the kick out angle though, sure I missed why!

 

Cut it a little shy of your cut line and finish with a Dremel and a drum sander bit.
Just a thought.
