I just started back, and I’m doing the Stonglifts 5x5. I made it all three days this week, even going at 6 am this morning to get it in. Hopefully with a bit more of a predictable schedule I’ll be able to stay with it rather than half in-half out.:curls:

Y’all want honesty or just to make shit up? Lol. I’m new to this fast stuff. Made what I thought would be a days worth of food to eat at work. I need to prepare more obviously. But I also am trying to cut weight and have been considering just cutting hard to get it over with.

Also we usually undercount calories so let’s say it could be realistically 2,000. That ain’t bad or insane for a diet.

Will find out tonight lol. I made it last night. If it doesn’t then I’ll slowly add a little but I also wouldn’t mind just getting cut finally so I can start lean bulking.

it’s a trial and error thing.

I have been impressed my caloric intake has had to go up on this diet. This week will tell if 2800 is ok but that pretty high for me.
But I will say my activity has been much higher than usual too.

Yeah curious if you can make it on 1700. That be rough for me I think. My fat intake has had to go up. I’m around 120-130g/day

    No. It’s a math thing.

The prisoners in concentration camps during WW2 were fed 1300 calories per day. You trying to look like them?

If you want to gain or lose weight you first have to know what your TDEE is. Once you figure that out you eat at a 500cal surplus per day to gain or eat at a 500cal deficit to lose. Doing this consistently for 7 days will result in 1lb gained or loss. It doesn’t matter if you fast, eat snickers, go to Taco Bell, or drink kale smoothies all day. The only thing that matters at the end of the day is calories in vs. calories out...

You weigh 177 but only eat 155 protein? That isn’t enough. You should be at a minimum at 1g per bodyweight. I do more. You’re trying to build muscle. You aren’t going to do that with too little protein.

Yes, eat less carbs. Yes, eat less fat. But you still need to understand the correct calorie total and hit that mark not just starve yourself and fast for ridiculous lengths of time. You’re doing more harm than good

I might copy a few and just hang tight and not post during the process and just post after it’s done lol. I woke up this morning at 2:30. Said”hmm I need more fats and less carbs” , measured stuff out and went for the day. Added em all up as I ate today.

obviously I need more as I notice that now.

however if i lose weight kinda quick, I’ll hang tight on it just to get to my lean weight and then start actually eating. People go 24-36 hours without eating and it’s fine. Or people cut water all day for a show and it’s okay. Why? Because these people are already trained and in good shape.

this is being a pussy and rant I know but shit lol. Let someone who’s atleast trying and listening, try.
