I have a chocolate lab, Emmie, getting in and out of my truck all the time. I decided to save my seats with some seat covers. I had Caltrend Woodlands Camo covers in my F150. They held up well over 8.5 years. Easy to clean, usually just wipe off. I went with Caltrends again, but this time in digital camo. BTW, they are running a 20% off promo right now.

I’m thinking that he might be sleeping with the fishies.

Curious. Have you checked the Rotopax site. They offer a number of different mounts? Many of them available on Amazon aso well as Ebay, could save you a bunch of fabrication.

The latch for the bed cover wouldn't be functional with the container in place if I pull it closer to the tailgate, had to push it forward. Definitely open to input if anyone has any. Though I'm sure the consensus would be, just leave the cover open when you have gas in the bed. Last picture kinda shows what I mean.

Do the guard hairs work their way into the fabric? Rileys did on anything other than the vinyl faux leather ones that I have on there now. How is the fit?

I've been looking, haven't found anything just yet that fits my predicament. I'm sure there's something out there though and I'm just missing it. A smaller container (1 gallon maybe) might fit under the latch and enable use of the nissan/toyota mounting plate.

BTLM, 3-C enhancement with @MESO stage1 lights installed on @SendinTheCavalry Taco today. Comparison to OEM on right with stage1. Not very good pic with all the fog.

Might work on a smaller container, unfortunately the 3gal is almost square, so rotating it doesn't change the height much. It's all my fault, should've researched before purchasing the container, now just working to make my mistake work.

Finally!! I bought all the needed parts, wiring harness, camera, etc. Did all the install, but able to wire only the back camera switch, and it wasn't util today (almost a year later) that i complete the wiring for the front camera..
Front and back camera switches.. (i am not very good a that) But, did it!! LOL
    IMG_4986.jpg
Cheap camera... But can be adjusted to almost any angle you want..
    IMG_4987.jpg
Picture quality is ok... Good enough for what i want it..
    IMG_4991.jpg
Adjusted the camera low, you can see part of the license plate frame...
    IMG_4992.jpg IMG_4993.jpg
Since i am not an expert, the installation took a while, but all in all, i would say that it went good, and was some how easy.

They do not. They did on the OEM seats. I had trouble vacuuming them out before I put the new covers on. They fit well. They will stretch a little over time. I can snug them up, though.

S'all good mate, I could always sell this one and downgrade. Keep it closer to tailgate and easier to reach.

That was definitely in my plans. I wouldn’t care if I had to lift it up there multiple times, as long as I got that line right. I know that there must be a little gap to account for flexing but I would like it to be as minimal as possible. With a 12 wk lead, there’s plenty of time to watch the install vid 80-90 times while I obsess over it until I fall asleep at night and dream about making the perfect cut...

    :sawzall:...
