    \Don't consider, just do it!
I love my AR! fun, fun, fun!
but the price of ammo is crazy..
I have never heard of rar guns.
    Mine is a bushmaster.

I've been toying with the idea of modifying my Ruger 10/22.
they make some pretty crazy parts for it!
    and .22LR ammo is cheap!
you can sit at the range all day shooting .22LR for the price of a hour of shooting .223 ammo.

Option number 2 looks like a better value. The first gun doesn't have a rear sight so you would need to purchase one in order to shot the gun accurately. Plus free float rails is a huge bonus not to mention it comes with flip up/down sights. That will come in handy if you decide to put optics on the gun.

As fare as purchasing one, they are all about the same with it comes to function. And they are a lot of fun to shoot, if you have the money I would say do it.

Just noticed option #2 doesn't have a charging handle? WTH??? Maybe the forgot to put it in for the pic. OP I would verify that it comes with one, if it doens't it's really not that big of a deal they're only $25-$35.

Maybe there is no BCG in it? Might be a good thing to clarify

BCG = Bolt Carrier Group. A charge handle is what brings the bolt back, cocking the hammer, and chambering a new round (on the first shot)

Nope, crap brand and not worth the money. When I was looking into AR's those same model was $499 or $599...but they have really low quality from the reviews I've read

    X2

BCG = Bolt Carrier Group IIRC

Charging handle is the device that cycles the weapons action and loads a round into the chamber. The BCG is the device that actually grabs the round out of the magazine and when the fireing pin is struck ejects it and loads another. The fireing pin is inside the BCG.

Personally I would say get the $700 one. Ensure it comes with bcg and carry handle. Once you get the gun, Read up and learn to enjoy it and also disassemble. Once you have that down you can decide what you want to upgrade based on what you dont like about your gun or what you feel needs inprovement.

    I think 700 is a good price

lol. "the closest you can get to having a real m4, without a licence".
Pick any of the top 10 manufacturers of m4 or AR weapons and basically you have the same gun.
DD, DPMS,RR,SIG,Ruger,Colt, Armalite, bushmaster, stag, olympic, wilson.
Yhere all milspec. They all do want you want them to do. Dont let the hype or peer pressure talk you into buying an AR15 that you think is gonna outperform the other.
It's like ford vs chevy, pc vs mac.

Stay with any of the top 10 and you will have a good shooter.

true. Olympic is to AR's what Century arms is to AK's. Regardless... I think you can still get a good shooter from olympic. There prob my #11 of the top 10 that I posted. lol
