Helo 878

I'm new to lifting trucks and have been searching and could not find the answer yet. My question is will these 17x9 Helo HE878 wheels (6x5.5 BP) (-12 mm) fit my stock prerunner with no lift. I plan on putting 265/70/17.

 

A few years after the OP posted, but figured I'd share since I just had this setup installed tonight on a 2019 Tacoma TRD Sport (not 4x4, no lift). Helo 878 wheels with specs of 17x9, -12mm offset. Nitto Ridge Grapplers 265/70r17 tires. There is some "poke" - enough to give it a great aggressive stance (combined with the Ridge Grapplers!) - but not so much that it looks out of place. I am getting some rubbing on the front mud flaps — will have to modify, replace with aftermarket, or remove altogether. Other than that, this setup looks and drives great!

 

How have those Helo rims held up? Might get some of those. Love the set up!!

 

My helos have held up just fine

 

Have only had them only about three months. No complaints. I did end up putting on a slight lift to avoid the mud flap rub. Here’s a thread that I started about the lift:

what lug nuts did you use?

 

@splat5666 I don’t know the brand/specs, but Discount Tire, where I bought the wheels and tires, sold me a set of black lugs to match the wheels. Hope that helps!
