Thank you. Yeah, me too! Not life threatening but it is vision threatening. Macular hole in my wifes iris in one eye. To be honest we're both scared but I won't let on that I am. Put in for FMLA so I can be here for her recovery. The way she's going to have to sleep and sit face down looks like it's going to be a long several weeks. No reading, television, nothing and this is a woman that never stops. Worst part is she'll have to eat my cooking!!

There's also edging material out there to give it a more finished look. I've used it before on my Chevy 4x4 as an edge guard on the doors. Don't remember exactly what it's called but I'll nose around a little and see if I can find out what it's call specifically and where it's available.

    ICON8 Lift -285s. upTOPoverland rack.
Been running this thread on the vendor thread. But finished up my upTOPoverland rack and lighting today:

Done: Note I painted scene light housings.

With scene lights: (integrated with cargo lamp)
    Edit: better pic:

I’m not in any way affiliated but have had an excellent experience. This stuff is very high quality and the vendor (@Doozy4212) is extremely responsive. www.uptopoverland.com

Definitely scary stuff when it comes to vision issues! Hopefully she’ll have a speedy successful recovery. Thankfully the internet has tons of quick easy recipes for those of us who need help! Not really a religious man by any means, but thoughts and prayers for you and the misses. :hattip:

    Working on it
Today, well yesterday and today I installed, with the help of my 3 year old grandson, the Anytime Backup Camera in my 16 Taco..

installation was pretty straight forward, having the arms and size of a 3 year old helped.

It was frustrating dealing with the company- the first question I asked was if the Full Kit included the camera, some places it seemed like no but in other places it was yes.

Did get a quick pre sales reply. But after I ordered it sent out at least two questions the same way - through the website were never answered.

    Anyway, it’s up and running.

Anyone know which wires to tap into to light up the switch - the camera icon. The front/back lights do light appropriately.. it’s hard to find the switch in the dark.

It's a quality mount, almost bought one. But I can't use that mount on the siderails while the mounts for the bed cover are on, they sit in pretty much the same spots. I THINK I could use that mount over the wheel well with a smaller container, or definitely on the front rail with the cover folded forward.

Not complaining, just trying to work around my choice of covers/containers. Someone said a tailgate mount, which would definitely work, no issues there. The old saying "measure twice cut once", applies to this in "research twice and purchase once".

Yall are definitely providing good solutions and ideas, definitely appreciated, please don't think it's not very much appreciated.
