Ran errands around town all day today, couldn't tolerate the 04A61 19800 build any longer. Just flashed back to 2.0 Base 16012.

Anyone who’s driven from Okemo to Stowe in VT has driven I-89 through the Green Mountains. It’s f’in steep!!!

19800 performed flawlessly! 19.6 mpg indicated. It is a brilliant tune.

So far the 2.0 Base has been my favorite. It has some areas to improve on but its still overall a really good running tune. Although I've only ran it with 93 octane. I'm about to switch to 87 or 89 since my commute for the new job is about 100 miles or so a day and 93 gets expensive.

I'm about to do the same. 16012 has been the best tune for my 04A61 truck.

Looking forward to the newest MT files. Thanks mat for all your efforts. Love the current 2.0 for MT, just needs a slightly tammer throttle response/tip in. Other then that, it's perfect.

For me, the truck fell flat on its face under light throttle load shortly after shifting to third. It would lug, then jump in RPM (TC lock/unlock?) back to where it should be.

I (04A61) had the same experience with 2.0 19800 with 3-4 upshift (Zendesk 10428). I'm going to stick it out because it appears to be getting better as the miles go on. I also wondered if the 19800 4.88 tune with stock gears would help the situation. Asked @OVTune about it on the same ticket.

I’ve also wondered how 4.88 tune would make stock gears run.

What happened to the tune? Get a 404 error when I try to purchase. Also can this be tuned for the MBRP exhaust?

@jrdills and @BlazinBlueTaco had a similar question but I don’t think anyone has tried it yet. I may flash it depending on the response from @OVTune.

Since Matt is moving it could be because of that. Any pending orders will go out. I'm assuming any new orders are suspended as well until his move is finished?

Did you reset the values? I had similar behavior going from 19770 to 19800. Reset values and it’s now my All time favorite tune.

Light throttle accelerating from a stop it seems to shift quickly to 1000rpm by 40mph then a dead pedal feel until quite a bit of pedal input is given to downshift. Also does the same at 60mph as I start on an incline/hill but at a higher throttle input.

I also feel that 16012 drove better. But I will keep with 19800 for a bit longer.
