I’ve seen that stuff before. A lotta guys using it to cover up bad cuts. I’ll be using that as a last resort. Hopefully not tho

 

Looks good! Did you use rivet nuts or jack nuts for the installation?

 

I've been wanting to paint the chrome tip for the past two years. Finally got around to it today.

I just used the hardware that came with it. I didn't do the driver's side, and I didn't need a rivet tool or anything. There were rectangular nuts that slid into the bed rails, and locking nuts with the bolts that held two panels together. Other than that, everything threaded into existing holes. There weren't any instructions, but it seemed straight forward enough. I did need to go to an auto parts store to get a T55 torx bit for the big bolts on the bed floor toward the cab. I didn't have any torx bits that big, and neither did the hardware store.

 

Gave her a bath.

Met up with @20tacoma17 to pick up my blacked out tail lights. They look so much better than stock, and pair perfectly with @MESO total tails. These babies are super clean and really pop vs OEM. Thanks again @20tacoma17 you really crushed these bud!

 

What's the red light under your bumper for?

I had a Eurospec Mercedes a few years ago that had a rear facing red fog light under the bumper.

 

Hood struts are the next must have. IMO anyway.
