What wiring did you tap into to get the lights to run off the cargo lamp switch?

I have 4 pod lights under my truck wired the same way. One under each door. Definitely helps at night.

So I’ve scoured all my packages and actually did not see one, hence my question. NP, I just like to tag my gearbox so onlookers can snap a pic to recall brands. Got the perfect spot...

@Doozy4212 @anybody How in the hell do you get to the nut on the Shark Fin? I have dropped the B & C pillars, handles and hooks and the headliner still won't come down. Do you take out the rear cabin light somehow? I can't seem to figure out how to pull that out and it seems as though that's the point where the headliner is still resisting to budge from. I have small hands and there's no f'n way I can get my hand in the space I have. I'm laying in the bed going through the rear slider trying to get to this damn nut. I do have the sunroof if that makes a difference some how. Thnx

Oh and yes. You have to pull the cabin light. If you have a sunroof. It should pull straight down.

You should not have to do anything with canin light, the nut will thread off but the prongs on the base of the nut pressing the roof will not spin, its a 22mm i believe

I didn't even touch the B pillars, just bent the headliner, pushed it back up afterwards and its fine.

I pulled the cover off the light, but I can't figure out how to drop the light. Are there clips? Front & Back? Sides? I see something when I pry around the housing, but how damn hard do you pull down and where am I pulling from the sides?

Try seeing if you can reach the nut without pulling the housing down. It has clips. I broke mine on one side. You have to pull down hard.

Never mind, I just didn't pull hard enough. I was scared that I would break shit. I took off front and rear door seals, kick panels, etc. I just said, "Fuck it I'm this far might as well add sound deadening throughout the interior. Just placed my Amazon order for 145 sq. ft. of Noico.

MANY a good mod starts, or moreover “middles” with “fuck it”. As long as they end with “fuck yah”...eventually! I just ordered a whole bunch of crap that will essentially have me dismantle/reassemble my rack I built 5 days ago.

Starting to add my emergency lighting (I'm on an FD). Nice thing about these is they reflect white but are red so don't confuse oncoming traffic when unlit. Love the cross bars for mounting options! Got a few more to go (side, back) before I wire them all up and finish the cable management for everything upTOP before winter.
