Ive stumbled upon something that should be of interest - 2017 Manual Sport ... i hate the clutch feel having driven stick for over 25years--- but, have yet get the By-Pass the Accu" mod done.

Yesterday i hit the Clutch Start Cancel Button ( it stays on once you do ) and did a bunch of town driving.... immediately i noticed a more mechanical feel from my clutch and the "grab zones " was solid and more to my less digital trucks of the past .

2 Questions to those more informed - 1 . is this in my head? 2. Any issues driving with this button ON all the time ( cuz thats what im going to do )

    Cheers

I’ve never noticed a difference, as far as I know all it does it over ride the depress switch to let the truck start.

I use it when I want to start the truck without getting in and Wife uses it due to her short legs not being able to push the clutch pedal all the way down.

Man, there is no way that by pressing Clutch start cancel button is going to improve driveability.

Its there for 1 reason only, to use the starter to get you outta hairy situations. Also, can be used to start truck if you dont wanna get in.

Interestingly enough placebos are strong in clinal research in the pharma industry, sometimes stronger than the drug.

Even with aftermarket exhaust and intakes, owners have to justify the several hundred dollar expense. Often times with SOPD (seat of the pants dyno)
