Stick to your guns. In Aug there was a 6MT pro for 43k that I offered 39k for. Dealer said no so I bought my OR 6MT at 6.5k off. Dealer called a week after I purchased and was willing to go below my offered 39k.

Yea, all reports indicate sales are steady but not on track compared to the same time last year. That article I posted is just one like it.

The longer I wait the less valuable the 19s are, especially with 20s hitting lots.

With that said, this 19 pro has a MSRP of $48,161. 15% off makes it $41k + dealer fees + tax/title (I will be swapping over my plates and registration) I'll be back up to $45k

If I can swing $10k down I'll do it. If not then I'll just go with a 20 OR and try to get the $4.5k average off.

Trying to understand your point cause I’m totally confused by your post. So you’re saying you don’t care about the cost of anything you buy?

What are they giving you off the msrp before the 1500 rebate? I’ve see 2500-4000+ posted.

Seems pretty reasonable with the premium package if you want that.

They are claiming the MSRP of: $42,228 so it's about $2700 off the MSRP price. This is NY as far location.

That seems like a great deal. What's MSRP, $42k?

Edit - just saw your second post. Guess you can play the "no way game" to try to get out of paying the tax.

I still feel like $5k min on a 19 is what should be fair.

I've gotten better deal for my 2019 in November last year. With 2020's hitting the lot you should be able to shave the price down by another $1-2k at least, IMO. Honestly at this point I'd get 2020 which comes with more cool and useful stuff.

Yea, I am trying to figure out the major differences are between a 2019 OR and a 2020 OR.

Off the top of my head I know the 20 has power seats. I wasn't terribly uncomfortable in the 17 seats but more adjustment would be great. Passenger side keyless entry is nice. Multi Terrain Monitor is way cool and definitely something I would want. It's one of the mods I had on my bucket list. Leather seats. 8" monitor. What else.

Thing is, that premium off road package is nearly $6k.

Leather seat covers are not that much and I'd kinda rather have waterproof neoprene. Side cameras are cool but I'm pretty sure the anytime rear mod, and adding a front and underneath is not crazy expensive mod. You can even mod the passenger door handle if you want keyless that bad. That new audio system is nice but I never had any issues using the premium non jbl system before.

    What am I missing?

I guess all said and done, having a new off road and modding it to suit my personal needs with the help of my TW family is more important than a financial burden that I'm not comfortable with.

I will use this thread to my advantage though regardless.

LED headlights, new head unit with apple CarPlay, extra cargo light. Personally I'd do it for the power seat and the headlights. 360 camera is pretty cool too, I have in the MDX and use it often especially when parking in odd spaces, wouldn't mind having it it Tacoma.

I replaced my bulbs in the 17 with Xenon Depot LEDs that are definitley superior to the $1100 led option on my Lexus. I'm still not sold on the Car Play thing and I am a tech junkie. It definitely has advantages but I'm ok without it. Now, if I were going to upgrade the entire sound system I would get a head unit with it.

I am a bells and whistles kinda guy though. I'm a firm believer in the better to have it and not need it, than need it it and not have it logic.

    Need some advice.

Dealer has 2 super white 2019 Tacoma Off road premium package in Manual Transmission.

MSRP 39k, have listed for 35K online. Does anybody think I can get more off?

I would try a little lower. Here is what KBB says prices are near me. Your price looks like a standard offer. Maybe go for the $33,000 since the 202os are out.

You have a 5 foot bed, I'm looking at a 6. And from what I've seen that extra 12 inches of sheet metal adds to the price no matter what state the truck is, the long beds are just more expensive.
