Damn! That alone makes it something you should keep in the family forever. Way freaking cool! The operation is just icing on the cake Bobby.

Very nice heirloom and such a great way to always remember your grandfather!

Hawai'i must have been awesome back in those days...Did you ever make it over to Kaua'i? That's where I'm thinking of going.

The realtor is actually my cousins wife's brother and one of the top agents around here so he knows my family and is a solid guy.

The buyers are local horse guys and my property is already fenced in with water lines ran and has a really good location for their buisness with good frontage on a major road but also lots of woods and privacy in the back fields for the horses. We have been certified organic for 10 years and have been renting the fields to an organic dairy for grazing cattle, the farm is 124 acres.

As far as the 5 years staying in the house they said they would write it out in a contract and not charge us any rent, they just really want this property and trying to sweeten the deal as much as possible. I will definately get a real estate lawyer if the deal happens.

I've decided to tell them I need a few months to scope out places in Hawai'i and figure out all the details like moving all my stuff 5,000 miles and the tax implications etc. The agent said they are going to keep looking but there isn't many farms for sale in this area and I think they want it enough to wait even though they would rather have it now.

Thanks for the advice everybody who chimed in

Definitely going to hold onto it! Would like to shoot it after I clean it

Also, glad you’re doing better and love the live for today attitude! Scary situation and I’m sure it put things into perspective!

See if they can source a 2019 LB you want. Seriously I think you will be around the same price on a 2020 OR with premium and tech.
Send them a price you want in the pro. They may take your offer. I know they want them gone.

    Thank you Mason.

New OR. But it will be a while. I need to come up with a down payment. Voodoo Blue, Quicksand or Cement, in that order. Long bed double cab, automatic. If I can get a 19' Pro for the price of a 20' OR Premium I'll give up the newer 20' features for the snorkel and fox suspension. The TSS is the same for both years and I want the pre-collision, lane departure warning, pedestrian warning, blind spot and cross traffic warning.

I know it's not a lot of people's thing but we only buy new. My luck is not good enough for used. Been there, tried to do that.

Took advantage of the cooler weather to wash and wax Elwood. My wheels are beginning to flake so I'll be in the market after this winter for some 3rd Gen ORs
