    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    Plus I wouldn't be surprised if SF had it's own regulations about firearms separate from CA alone.

    Wow, pretty cool to be able to walk into a big operation like grocery store freezer that's down and know what to look for and find that. Nice work man

    @Kwikvette my Milwaukee stuff has been solid and I use it pretty good. The impact I got was the M18 Fuel 1/2" the big boy, I wanted to be able to pop crankshaft bolts with it for pulling the harmonic balancer and stuff for timing belts, etc. I've loved all of them too. Even the little shop vac is M18 powered and super convenient in customers homes and stuff. Also have the circular saw, the blower, jig saw, etc. Just really freaking handy to not need air lines or extension cords anymore:D

    Badass.

    Just want to know what "torque rating" I should look at; I know they're all variable (controlled by the trigger) but I don't want one crazy high.

    I saw 2-3 at home depot, in 1/2", roughly the same physical dimensions, with different torque ratings.

    Left me scratching my head and wondering what one I should get the other day.

    Gotta remember most impact gun torque readings are just the break (loosen) torque. My aircat gun has 650 lbs of break torque, but not nearly that much when it comes to tightening stuff.

    Kinda depends on what the heaviest torqued down bolt you'll want to pull is, factor in rust or weathering, also loc-tite,etc
    I also have the little Fuel m12 3/8 impact and that thing kicks ass too. But there's just not a whole lot of smaller bolts that need that big of a rated torque wrench. So that one is kinda used less for me

    Also, I almost never tighten stuff with a gun. Maybe get it snug, but rarely ever do I go full beans on tightening a bolt with it, if I do its only on the middle setting.

    So the most difficult thing I've ever had to remove on my truck were the bolts on the front eyelet of my leaf springs; took a 12" breaker bar but that's it. Nothing is rusted on my truck so I'd want it to break loose that bolt once more and that's pretty much it. Everything else will be easier.

    Are there any diabetics in here?

    I'm a previously diagnosed prediabetic stage 2 kidney disease. For about the last 3 months, what I eat and when I eat are making huge impacts on my thoughts and the way I physically feel. Medically speaking, I'm FUBAR already. For years I have already been experiencing pain/feelings like diabetics have in their feet and so on so I wouldn't know wtf any pain is actually caused by. Diabetics your thoughts and advice would be greatly appreciated. Can I get better now somehow before I get worse long term or am I already f.... and I'll have to do this and that in order to not deteriorate further or am I just f....? C'mon doc give a brother a break! Lol!

    Funny story time. When doing the lift on my dads truck a week ago, (new frame, all bolts installed like 4 months ago, nothing seized) I had a harder time breaking stuff loose on it then I did my own rusty truck. The techs used an impact on everything since they installed the suspension before the body was on. The top 3 nuts on the coil bucket were the worst, cause I couldnt get a breaker bar on the back one. I had the truck shaking on the jack stands trying to break it free with a ratcheting wrench. Finally got it, but it was definetly the worst one on the truck. And its only supposed to be slightly tighter then hand tight (40ish pounds).

    Yeah I hear too many horror stories about people tightening automotive bolts/lugs with impact guns. Just use mine to break them loose

    I'm the worst guy to give you rational tool advice lolol my motto for tools is kinda like advice I was given on buying a winch or not, I'd rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it. So I didn't want to have one that might leave me wanting the bigger one later on a timing belt or something.
    I'm not too familiar with all the different models and stuff now, but I've been running mine for a few years and I'd believe any of them will be good quality, it's just getting the size for your needs
