Little off topic from what you guys typically talk about, but feel I can ask fellow Alabama folks a question and maybe get an answer.

I was recently banned for some truly unknown reason. Saw a moderators name on a random topic and asked why never got a response. Been in this forum for over 4-1/2 years where 99% of the time I just read here. Any way to know what I may have done to aggravate someone or break a rule? It doesn’t bother me that it happened but when there is truly no known instance, since I’ve never insulted anyone or cussed even on this forum, that I can think of which could warrant a ban. Sure don’t want to be banned again for no known reason and be permanently out of here but can’t find out without asking.

Any advice? Thanks

Thank you. I don’t remember politics really other than saying, but that’s for another discussion in quote to someone else asking me if I voted for Hillary Clinton. Also said no because I believe people should actually work for a living. End of political words ‘that I remember’. All good though, didn’t know that warranted a ban but I’m good with it. Won’t say a political word again even if someone mentions it. Thanks!

Yeah and it’s understandable on their end. I’m not mad just wanted to make sure I don’t get banned again is all.

I made a mention to make it a little more obvious but also think they should stress the no politics a little more since they’re so adamant about it. Kind of like going to eat at a restaurant and sitting down to eat with shoes on then getting kicked out. Upon exiting the doors the bouncer says ‘shoulda read the rules’. While agreeing, you ask where are the rules posted and the guy says ‘go down the hall, turn left, go three doors down and turn right and then they’re posted under the computer desk keyboard’. That’s basically where the rules seem to be posted here unless you’re a diehard lifetime lover and lives 80% of the spare time on this site reading group after group after group (which I don’t). I have literally read in 2nd gen forum, 3rd gen forum, suspension forum, area forum, and very very little in buy sell trade. Also have taken time to read some of the vendor links to see what they offered. Nowhere in those places are rules links.

My truck was full of flooring yesterday. 900 square foot of vinyl laminate. Wasn’t for my house but delivered to a customers house for warranty claim due to his home springing a leak and flooding part of his home.

 

I am no diehard lifetime lover nor live 80% of the spare time on this site reading group after group after group, you ask me so I did a search and found it, wasn't hard. I try to always ask about the rules when joining something so I know how to play the game.

 

Wasn’t referring to you by any means. Sorry if you took it as such. I’m not a huge technology person in means of usability. And as for searching I just went about it wrong I guess. Just searched for things related to being banned and also the word rules and forum rules and other things. Search provided me zero results that helped me. My ban was removed day before yesterday and I’m just now asking because I was tired of searching and reading.
