All reviews are good on Amazon/youtube but no longevity reports.

 

They are Rigids, they come with a lifetime warranty. Unlike some low cost China product lifetime warranties that you are really buying a reusable warranty because the products don't last, Rigids are a high quality brand known to last.

How about warn wench x8000i will retrieve but wont unwind with controler, have to disengage and manually pull out cable?

 

Lights are my thing.

You could flip the polarity on the connections on the winch wiring and see if it backs out then. Would mean it is the switch or controller if it does. (Forward on the controller will run reverse).
