What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

picked up and installed my $60.00 tonneau cover. happy.

 

That’s a steal, great job!!

 

Threw on sliders and put the skid plate on

 

Installed the BAMF front bumper today. Great bumper. Everything went smooth besides my 1" body lift preventing me from lifting it higher. As you can see in the last pic there's a metal panel in the way. Other than removing body lift anyone know of other solutions to closing the gap? Thanks.

 

Front top plate spacers in from @HeadStrong Off-Road. Super easy install, a lot more level now

 

You would need to modify all the mounting points on the bumper 1” lower thus raising the bumper 1” closing the gap putting the bumper where it would be on the body like if you didn’t have the body lift.

Thanks! And should be at just about 3 inches in the front, maybe a tad bit more. Didn’t like the factory rake at all

OME fronts 887s and rears with HD Dakars. I think it gave me around 2-2.5 inches

 

Nope. Body lifts always leave unsightly gaps. Maybe paint the exposed areas to match bumper.

 

Then yes it fuckin hums just like my tires I didnt get it because it was quiet​

I joined the MN 4 wheel drive association and an offroad club called Reckless Off road a few weeks ago for a trail ride that went on this weekend called Go 4 it all in dresser wi.

It rained all day sat and the trails were nasty all the way through.

Today i cleaned my brakes and washed my winch line. we even saw a 2017 rubicon on its side on a decent hill!

 

I like loud stuff, so it fits my personality. i actually wish i had louder tires

My mom said ahe could he me coming 3 blocks away in town lol

 

Looks like a good day out. That Rubicon is showing respect by laying in its side and showing you it’s belly.

 

I looked at the belly and thought "this is a super convenient way to work on your jeep if it wasnt so destructive"
Twas a real good time, we were all rippin 4wd doughnuts together out in an open area and trying to spray each others truck with mud burnouts.

 

Man those 36 inch light bars look so much better in that opening than the 32s
