Being from southern california, I always thought as a kid REI was kinda useless. Holy cow was I wrong, that place is amazing.

I just jump out of the truck and run for the door. My wife prefers to be treated as an equal.

 

Holy fuck if you walked a mile to work in south Florida you are gonna be wet no matter if it rains or the sun is shining.
BTW I let my wife of 35 years off at the door. That's the SMART thing to do.

 

Whatever works for you two. Do you boo boo. I’ll keep that pesky umbrella for my “unequal” partner.

 

Lol. It’s really the other way around. My wife usually has an umbrella and just strolls off without me while I run to catch up.

 

I’m familiar with this move too. Ive tried the “I’ll drop you off”, but she doesn’t like that. But she also has sprinted off leaving no fucks about how wet I got.

Yea, I buy a ton of stuff from them. My next purchase was going to be a Yakima rack, but thats on hold. I bought an expensive camera lens today instead.

 

Its funny when they do it but if you did it to them you wouldnt hear the end of it hahaha

 

The original idea of a umbrella was to shade one from the sun.
Hope you guys are also protecting your loved ones from the sun's harmful rays as well.

My wife is asian, she’s super fucked in regards to the sun’s rays. But she has sunscreen and sunglasses. She’s on her own.

 

I worked out of our FL office for two weeks about 5 years ago. The only thing worse than walking, would be riding the bus. Hold f**k I was stupid for trying that. Rented a car the next day.

I should have known better, having spent my childhood summers visiting FL, but my Seattle based coworkers said I wouldn't need a rental.
