That's what I'm saying; I wear slacks/tie at work every day so these would be perfect for every day wear.

I'm surprised you don't have one; you've got expensive tools and you're out even late at night for a job.

Self-defense was enough reason to get one in my county though other counties are difficult to obtain, or no issuing of CCW's at all.

Just speaking from my own personal experience. When I decided to switch to cordless impacts I saw the High-Torque, what it was rated at, & got it. More power the better, right? Nope.... didn't relize the damn thing was so big. The only other 1/2" they had at the time was the Compact size (same size as my 3/8), not that much power for a 1/2" gun. So glad the Mid-Torque came out.

They should have the High-Torque on display too. Compare the 2 in hand, you'll see what I mean. The High-torque is a good gun, if you work in a shop & constantly need that much power. If I worked in a shop still I would just have a 3/4" air impact handy like we did at the shop I worked out.

Mid-Torque will handle pretty much all suspension & drive line needs. Will take off axle nuts no problem too. I'm surprised they sell the Mid-Torque with compact batteries though.

Yeah the big boy can have limited use under the hood and sometimes under the truck too because of its size.

Yeah you can't get one in your county

What's funny is I rarely carry; when I do though it's when we watch a late movie at the theater.

I don't know about your county, but in general I'm saying it's not really needed.

Without getting into politics, I'll just say that having a CCW isn't about having the opportunity to carry, and deploy to be a hero; I only rarely carry in the off chance that I may be caught off guard during a time/place I "assume" someone would want to get stupid with me. In all reality, I hope to never have to pull out my firearm.

Some people wish to have one for the wrong reasons (though I'm sure you're not one of those guys).

I've had enough people shoot at me for several life times.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

I think I have the size of the bolts specified in my 4x swap thread. If not, I can look around and figure out where I got mine from.

I think you did, and thanks for the diagrams and all the specific info you posted in that thread.

I'm in the middle of parts-gathering for my 4x4 swap; your thread and Tyler's have been an amazing source of information.

    Thanks man... glad it's helping.

My intention was to try and cover everything I could, to make it as infomative as possible for the "next guy" to do the swap.
