Very cool, but man, they cost more than I paid for my truck! But very cool, none the less!

Well, it can’t offroad like 79chkchk’s Aussi made Patriot Camper, but the “Baja” edition Jayco’s come stock with a flipped axle, larger holding and water tanks, fully winterized and full underside sheeting (rodent resistant), so its good for boondocking on graded dirt roads. We added a two battery system and 400watts of solar, so it does very well off-grid with ease.

Yes, but you pay for what you get. The build quality from Patriot is unlike anything I have ever seen. This thing will last a lifetime, and probably through the Zombie Apocalypse!

Edit: And, you only live once. May as well see the world in a Patriot!

I want one, but it seems kinda too expensive for what it is. What are your thoughts? Any complaints?

Looks incredible, but for $40K........ a wee bit steep for most of us I would expect. Certainly for me. But oh, the WANT factor is high!

Just shy 2 ton of gravel which is probably way to much considering the weight of this trailer. Was bottomed out on the bump stops most of the way home. Took my time, then seen the picture of a Colorado bent in half the next morning after hailing a trailer. I was pretty worried then, out checking it all over underneath lol. Then I remembered this ain’t no damn Chevy.

You know... given this truck isn't especially powerful, I was concerned about how ot would pull the jeep. This pic was the first time and in S4 with the power button on, it didn't struggle to accelerate or maintain 70 on the freeway. I think big mountains would challenge it, but I think it could do it.

A balanced load on a well equipped trailer with good trailer brakes and a good trailer brake controller, truck itself will handle a car hauler trailer towing most any vehicle from one place to another. I haven’t given my 2019 as much pressure as I did my 2015 but the 2015 hauled a bobcat skid steer from Home Depot with their heavy duty equipment trailer. Was a 2 hour one way drive and handled the tow. Was too much for the truck to haul regularly of course but the truck was plenty capable and I never had any work done to my truck time it had 88,500 miles when I traded it in.
