You OR guys need to check your brains . That locker and crawl is only as much money as a scoop and painted fender flares . You guys act like its tens of thousands dollars you got . I dont need it or want it and love the way a Sport is on blacktop .

Sounds like your truck is perfect for you then.

But in reality a scoop hood and panted fenders are cheap changes. A rear electric locker is not. And crawl control and MTS are not even possible to add. If I remember correctly when crawl control first came out in the 4Runner it was about an $1800 stand alone option. There are other things too like skid plates and a heavier rear end.

But I don’t think anyone was really even saying they were worth way more. We all know the cost about the same new. So there’s some surprise that the seemingly more cheaply replicated version would be valued higher.

I’ll reply again after the edit. That’s not how MSRP works. Vehicles have different profit margins at different trim levels. Sport and OR trim levels are marketed at different buyers and are priced according to what the market will support to maximize profit for Toyota.

Just so you know, I drive a Sport. But in the interest if total disclosure: if the AC 6MT was offered in the OR I wouldn't be.

Your truck doesn't cost any more to build than mine and you don't like it . The OR owners dont like Sports , Limited or Pros for who knows why .

Face it guys, nobody give a shit what YOU paid, only what they can sell it for. If the market favors Sport over OR TODAY, you're screwed. Tomorrow could be a different story.
