So if 44K is OTD, what was before TTL then?

I have not ordered mine yet because I'm not sure if I should try to get pricing set in before I order it, but then again I can always dump the order and get a refund. Dealer said 1.5 to 2 months when I do order it.

 

Yeah no doubt that needs ordered, he has or can get the pricing. The window stickers are out there. LED Headlights are 432 invoice and 485 MSRP so the info is available he is just setting you up to be more agreeable with his price point.

 

I pulled the Costco invoice pricing and he didn't really believe me how much lower it was than MSRP. I don't mind creating a new email address and then starting to email dealers all around me that i'm willing to drive to if it gets someone to get pricing for me.

 

Let me find the invoice and get back. It was about 1.5 months for me. I'm getting it either end of this month or beginning of next, depending on which allocation they grab.

I put down a $1000 "finders" deposit. It's only refundable if the dealer messes up. If I change heart it's theirs. But since this is such a unicorn I can't blame them.

MSRP is $45K. Car isn’t even due to dealer until early November.

Seems to have everything I want, although they have a black 2019 Pro that is advertised at 43.5K, maybe get it down to 41.5K? What do you guys think of the numbers on this 2020?

no crack sales on this one lol. And I don’t mind. I’m an IT Security Manager in the Casino business. Plus I have a couple of rental properties. That keeps the day to day stuff going. I have extra cash on hand because I sold my newer truck over a year ago and just put the payment I was making on that back while I drove an older hunting truck that I already had paid off. Just been waiting on something to come along and saw the 2020 Tacoma and the updates and said, “that’s what I want”.

I’ve always loved the Tacoma’s. It’s what I learned how to drive with (stick shift) and I owned a second gen for a bit. Always said I’d own another and now felt like the right time.

 

These look like the TRD Pro tail lights until you get close enough to them. Look closely and you'll see the only Chrome on these are a strip around the red plastic housing. The rest is actually painted dark grey.

 

It’s similar, but the chrome has an unmistakable way of standing out.

 

The TRD Pro tails are actually black not a gunmetal gray like these. Yes the chrome
is just a bezel around the red, but horrid. I will be ordering PRO tail lights to swap ASAP.

 

They look similar and from far away you generally cannot see the chrome strip. I think the negative reviews on these tail lights are highly exaggerated.

 

What was the sales price before TTL? Looks like a good deal.

 

From photo to photo it differs. I haven’t seen the 2020 tail lights in person. I’ll wait until I actually see one and if I don’t get adjusted to it right away, I’m going to swap out for Pro’s.

they put 2019 pro wheels on it. That’s wild.

 

I went and looked at the 2020’s tonight. The SR5 doesn’t have the chrome in the tail lights. It does however have the chrome bumper caps. The 8” touch screen was sweet and the power seat was pretty cool. With it adjusted I definitely had more leg room. If my dealer gets a Voodoo SR5 I might just trade my 2019 in on it. Put my pro grill on it, remove the badging , and have the bumper caps painted and done.

 

I just stopped and checked oot a 2020 Voodoo SR5 at my local dealer. Looked great.

 

Wow those shiny chrome tail lights get uglier each time you see them.
