Yeah, that is seriously the only downside to pet ownership if you ask me. Not sure if anything outweighs it either. It's just a time for us as the human to be strong and appreciate all the time we had had with them and how they gave it all unconditionally.

My wife and I were with my cousins retriever the day she went. It was horrible to see he in that state, so so beyond care, adn. And yet, when we got to the house, we could tell we lifted her spirit. It was as if she knew that would be the last time she would lay at our feet for us to pet and scratch her. We knew her for 16 years, from a pup.

 

Ok, I will tell them that if a shark comes I will warn them so they have a better chance.

Yea, I could do that too. It's 30 bucks a pop. Well, at least that' what it was the last couple of surgeries I have had.

 

At least just go to the first one and have them lay out the plan/schedule they have and what exercises they recommend.
