I ordered a taco tunes box, going to pair it with a compRT 12”. I was going to go mr marv but I did not want to drill out the child restraint harness and cut the tabs holding the plastic panel in.

Heads up, the taco tunes box won't fit with the seat in place. I had mine in and it literally indented the subwoofer. I had to remove the top half of the seat. I got a set from Mr. Marv and I don't think you have to drill out the restraints. Which plastic panel are you referring to?

did you remove the plastic on the back of the seat? I spoke with mr marv, I really wanted to buy his enclosure but he said I would have to drill out the driver side seat restraint and remove 2 of the brackets below the restraint that holds the rear plastic panels in place.

As easy as it is, I did not want to remove or modify anything to the truck, that is why I decided to go with a taco tunes box.

This is what he said about having a subwoofer enclosure on the driver side. "If you drill the tethers out "properly" with a spot weld cutter (about 8 bucks on Amazon or at Harbor Freight) you can bolt them back on easily in the future as it will leave 3 clean holes as shown. The far right tab (when looking at the back wall) should be cut off to be safe as it is a double wide that does not bend easily (some have successfully bent it without damage to the back wall but I prefer to play it safe). The other one can be bent down into the valley and can be easily bent back so you would just lose the one mounting point if you need to put the bin back in."
