either way, can your truck take both of our bikes? I don't mind mine being just laid in the bed, but i've got that bed rail fork mount now too, but I know you said your softopper is a bit low. also can bring the tailgate pad. I just know your truck is going to be more comfortable for the interstate haha!

I def want to hit jekyll and hyde since you said it's great. I'm not "not interested" in beginner trails, but I don't want to do any just to wear myself out before doing something fun. I want to hit stuff that will challenge me but not kill me, but just want stuff monte sano doesn't offer me.

 

Is the Marlin 7 worth paying more than a marlin 6?

 

I’m gonna build an outrigger mount this week so we’ll only have to worry with getting yours in the bed. And yes, mine is actually quite comfy on the highway. Put a lot of mileage on it this weekend and even with the gears it rides well.

if we are going to use a truck for "shuttle" do I need to bring my tailgate pad along for yours or marks truck?

 

Got a swingout so shuttling with a pad would be difficult for me.

 

could use marks truck for shuttle purposes then? he's got a shell though...hm...

Yes ive been looking but i just wanted to know before i buy something that i wished i hadn't. Im going to rent each one first before i buy one.

 

I might have to redo our floors on the weekend of the 26th......

can likely still do a day trip though, but we are planning on camping somewhere on the first weekend in November, so we could do monte sano again...

 

I'm unavailable the first weekend of November... ugh. Literally any weekend but the first weekend of every month I'm available to bike Monte Sano at a minimum.

 

I am still pushing to go on the 26th, and get started with demo that night. The. Lay the new flooring on Sunday.

I'm going to begin the rest of my demo for floor prep tonight so I know your pain. suckssss. but I am very ready to have actual flooring in my living space.

that is actually on my list...but I'll probably pay someone to do it.
