Driving so much this weekend made me want to upgrade. To listen to a podcast I have to turn my bass all the way down and crank the volume to be able to understand them. It's annoying. I'll probably just start with the headunit and go from there.

Seems like you should start with the Tweeters then...they are a lot cheaper than a new HU

Maybe. But I want a new headunit anyways. Then I can ditch my tablet and use apple car play. Also my volume knob does this fun thing where I try and turn it up, and it'll go up 3, down 5, up 3, down 4, up 2, down 1. All while I'm turning it up. It's so fucking annoying when I try and turn it down and it gets louder.

My buddy left his plasma cutter at my house. I use it. Just to use it. It also makes me thankful that I asked for 240v in the garage when they were building the house. I just wish I had gotten more. Now if I can get him to leave his welder....

My audio was upgraded. And now I'm upgrading it more. I got tired of the Pioneer headunit I have in there now. Bought an Android unit. Pioneer will probably be for sale soon. Will just about everything to make an OEM looking install in the 3rd gen. Would need two or three cheap antenna adaptors to make it work. Possibly only one. Anyway....

@EatSleepTacos thanks for the help with Joe. I ordered the sliders. I need to have a mod-weekend. I have so much crap sitting in my garage that I haven't tossed onto the Taco.

@apy_camper it took me forever to find your new screen name. Anyway, you still interested in that OEM roof rack?

My truck went on a pretty long trip and didnt break once. A buddy borrowed it.

Maybe i'm the reason these cars keep breaking?

Its all good man I completely understand. I'm going down early Thursday to get setup and check out the area and get last minute food and cold beer. Gonna soak it all in and then decide about going to Expo West next year. DM me if anyone wants to hang or drop by for a beer at night.

Yeah, I'm finally back on Quantico and getting settled in. Just gotta figure out a time to make it up there and what you want for it, but definitely need at least an interim solution for the canoe

My commuter (Prius) had this same issue, so I using the steering wheel controls and it works fine. Definitely annoying when it happens to me, funny when it pisses the passenger (usually the wife) off when they try to fuck with the radio

I wouldn't mind going out but I don't have any specific plans to. Mainly because I haven't put in the leg work to find a good spot in a long, long time. Most of the good hunting seems to be in Maryland.

After closely reviewing the pictures, I think i've figured it out. 1. Instead of parking in the water, he parked next to it. 2. Instead of running the trees over he drove next to them. 3. When the truck on the blacktop its not racing anyone or doing a burnout.

I wish I had steering wheel controls because that shit drives me crazy. I started using the volume control on my tablet and leaving the headunit just really high.

@pabstsmeared thought you'd appreciate this, one of the pieces that my taco brought back from the family members estate in IL

Randy I have a single DIN Pioneer that’s ready to plug and play with correct wiring harness, dash plate and everything. It doesn’t have Bluetooth but it has an aux chord input. I’ve been trying to sell it but you’re welcome to have it if you need/want it. That goes for anyone else in the thread. It’s a big difference in sound over the stock head unit, too

I really appreciate that offer Rob. I'm going to respectfully decline, but really, thank you.
