Are you guys taking a brush to the truck or just foaming and rinsing? I'm an avid washer/detailer with a respectable arsenal of chemicals and products but this is new to me.

Foaming and rinsing will remove a lot of dirt. I foam and hand wash when I have time. Foam Canon does a great job.

Got the powertank in. For reference this is the 15lb bottle. Got the rivnuts installed for the mount, just need to go pick up some stainless steel hardware to finish mounting it.

Speakers in and of themselves aren’t gonna make much difference without a head unit and amp. If you’re running stock head unit sound and power to speakers that are built to handle more power you are always going to be disappointed.

In my first gen, I replaced the head unit, and kept the factory speakers, and that made a huge difference in the mids and highs. (I also had a small amped sub, which obviously helped the lows)

but I think you're right that if you can only do one or the other, its better to replace the head unit than the speakers.
