The results sound impressive from all that I have read. I really need to just drop the coin and join the party.

I also did the accumulator delete at the same time, but I was so impressed with the tune that I didn’t really pay much attention to the clutch pedal feel. I got used to it very quickly and it was definitely an improvement, but not something I’d consider necessary. OV on the other hand..... must have. Lol

I gotta ask. Why do people start these threads? This feels like the break-up ultimatum speech that eventually leads to the "goodby TW" thread. OP, get a new vehicle. Stop dicking around. You are welcome to post here regardless of what you drive... as long as you dont make a "goodby TW" thread.

I am very happy with my 2017. I love the performance, but it is not stock. I run the pro CAI/Exhaust + sprint booster (Red-7 or Green-8 modes) + ethanol free gas + ECT enabled. It feels quick and responsive and it wants to go. I still get about 16.8-18.1 MPG highway/city combined. Also had the AT TSB done in June 2018.

I saw the video of the Twonz getting 5.29 gears and I’m totally jealous, but $2700 ain’t gonna happen for me any time soon.

I totally support you keeping the taco but if you don’t feel the connection that’s cool too; I would highly encourage you to go with that Ford Ranger... I have some Ford stock and it’s been struggling lately. Hoping the Bronco gives em a boost but history would probably repeat and it’ll be a death trap that rolls over easily or the wheels fly off at high speeds.

Last year I test drove an AT Tacoma just for the hell of it to see what the complaints were about. I thought it was fine, actually shifted better than any auto Ford or Chevy truck I’ve driven.

Gotta use the skinny pedal when you want it to go.
