Finished the new switch wiring today. The garage door button is wired to a door opener under the dash. The garage door lights, the "Grille LED Lights" and "LED Light Bar" come on with the dash lights via a posi-tap on the factory cargo light switch. The LED lights are wired to an auxiliary fuse panel in the engine bay, and the "Trucks" light up when the lights are turned on. The bracket is from Cali-Rasied, and the switches are CH4x4. Found wiring diagrams for everything here on TW. Thanks!

The best thing about that model is that it'll get stronger over the years.

Share the wiring diagrams you used? I bought the Cali raised OEM switch and the led either stays lit constantly or never turns on... The bar works fine, but I can't see the button at night. Reached out to them and got their diagrams but it didn't work for me.

Crap. I just ordered the cali raised ones yesterday and didn't realize they would be difficult to wire. Does anyone have any tips on this?

EDIT: This is on a 2nd gen Tacoma, I posted it in the wrong forum. The idea should still work on the 3rd gens.

Finally got around to hiding my garage door opener. I used this button I picked up through eBay; Amazon has similar ones. I liked that it has a halo light which I have connected with the dash lights. I mounted it in one of the filler inserts to the left of the steering wheel. The opener clips on the top of the fuse box tray and works just fine.
