A little off topic sort of venting. I have to replace the door set on our atrium door. Go to Lowes and talk to the lock guy and pick up a set for $57. Not that expensive. Take it home and it does not fit. After some research I find out that the backset is 2 inches. Most locks are 2 3/4 inches to 2 1/4 inches.

I can only find them at one place on line and the cost is $199. It is on order. The current lockset is 17 years old and my son has worn it out. LOL

Such fun owning a home at times.

Evening all, I roasted a chicken with potatoes and carrots in the dutch oven tonight. Came out great. After dinner my wife was putting something in the basement and I heard her start yelling at the dog to drop something. Long story short, the stupid dog ate a dead mouse he found on the floor down there. We had put some Decon down there a while back. She called the vet and they wanted to see the dog, so that's where she is. Hopefully he'll be OK, but the bill will probably be about a weeks pay.

 

good luck with that Dave, dogs eat anything and make it hard to get rid of vermin
