Depending on what he wants for the part, it might be worthwhile. Can he get me the left apron (steel inner fender piece, where the fender bolts on), intact? As in, spot welds deilled out, panel popped loose and sent that way?

I just did this radiator core support from amizon on my 97. For the price its a great deal. BUT it did not line up 100% like OEM. I did have to modify certen points so that it lined up better. Here is my after Pic.

I'm sorry to hear that you were involved in an accident. Your front end damage was similiar to mine minus the hood damage. It doesn't look that bad and I hope that you're able to get your parts and have it repaired soon. I'm sure the truck is still drivable in its current condition.

I didn't get in the accident. Bought off an older gentleman that didn't want to repair it. And yes it is driveable. Drove it off the trailer. And thanks for the good luck

Frame looks perfect near as I can tell. The only real problem is the left front body mount (core support mount) is trashed. But I procured one of the last 2 in the country, for $65. That will be a simple matter of grinding and welding to fix.

Not to thread jack, but currently still working on mine. The fender apron and core support are just about ready to come out, but there seems to be a couple spot welds still holding it on and they seem impossible to get to, any tips?

Any chance you can provide a pic from inboard looking out at what you had to drill out?

Also, where did you get the new part from? I am not having luck finding the driver's side as an aftermarket component.

That's just the fender curtain I noticed. Radiator support is much easier
