And this is for the questions that don't have any answers
The midnight glancers and the topless dancers
The candid freaks, cars packed with speakers
The G's with the forties and the chicks with beepers
The Northern Lights and the Southern Comfort
And it don't even matter if the veins are punctured
All the crackheads, the critics, the cynics
And all my heros in the Methodone Clinic
All you bastards at the IRS
For the crooked cops and the cluttered desks
For the shots of jack and the caps of meth
Half pints of love and the fifths of stress
For the hookers all tricking out in Hollywood
And for my hoods of the world misunderstood
I said it's all good and it's all in fun
Now get in the pit and try to love someone

Figured out I'm a Xenial, definitely not a millennial, leaned more towards X, so here we are, a word for me, I like it!

That might be pushing it… more like 2nd gen of the millennials. You can’t change where you started but I guess it’s a thing to change how you identify, so you have that going for you

This is how I see it… for millennials in your gen classification

    1st gen(80-84/85)
    2nd gen(85-89/90)
    3rd gen(90-94)

End of genX, so glad I’m not in that millennial crew :D.
There is a huge difference in people in general, generations don’t matter.
You can attribute behaviors to any arbitrary concept and think you are right, but chances are there’s some bit bias...usually Dunning Kruger effect.

Deep. For those us not effected by the Dunning Kruger effect we just call it “you don’t know what you don’t know”.

I’m with you. There seems to be a notable difference between those born in the 80s compared to the 90s.

    Imagine this if you will:
Millenials fighting for their lives and our freedom in the big wars.
The silent generation developing all the new tech and being as...accepting...as is required today.

Blows my mind. The silent generation was absolutely the last tough generation. Their ways and ideals simply don fit in today's world. Baby Boomers (I'm at the tail end of them being born in 1963) were tough as well (Korean war and Viet Nam) and most have been able to adapt as times changed. GenX and Millennials have only stories to relate to from history but have proved to be resilient and innovative. And the new gen? No comment yet. Need more data.

My father in law is 95. One of the last of the silent generation. Was in WWII. Got shot going ashore. Fought for three days with two bullets in him. Spent months in hospital. Got out and went back to the front line. Never talks about it.

The silent generation saw actual struggle and scarcity. They had to be tough.

Us youngins have had it pretty easy, for the most part.
