    I don't think warming up a vehicle to operating temp is necessary these days...maybe if it's below freezing out it might be a good idea, IDK. That said, I don't think it's good to just hop in and floor it either.

    Usually what I do is I wait for my AFR gauge to read a steady 14.7 before I shift into gear and move...takes maybe 10 seconds. When I fire it up the gauge will go down to about 11 and then every couple seconds go up a point or two until it hits 14.7 and stays thereabouts (the gauge will always bounce around between ~14.4 - 14.8). I don't think it necessary or anything it just satisfies my OCD lol.

    Personally, I always wait a minute or so. If it’s below 30 degrees I wait 5 minutes

    So I’m noticing that BMWs and Porsche SUVs are following me now. What’s nice is no one races or taunts me. It’s not like driving a corvette. It’s the perfect sleeper truck.

    So coming up is a dyno before with stock pulley and after with the 2.2. I think it won’t be an issue like John said. It’s the elevation. Up here there is not as much O2. So we need more air to get the same 02. So we’ll soon scientifically find out what’s up with the dyno data.

    Can’t do it now, possibly this weekend, I just dropped my truck off to the dealer
    because my fuel trims went crazy. Either I have a vacuum leak I can’t find or a fuel pump is getting tired.
    Hopefully they fix it or find the issue tomorrow

    Actually no, the 1st fuel pump died at 300k and I’m at 605k,

    Long Fuel trims went from 0 to 4, to 12-24,

    So we have an issue, having a smoke test done for the vacuum leak is what Im Thinking.

    That’s the nice thing about a scanguage, you can catch a problem before it actually
    hits you head on with fuel trim info.

    Hopefully that's it and they can track it down. No check engine light? Usually a vacuum leak bad enough to make you run lean like that will trip a code

    Yea, but usually the long term trim is above 25 before a code is trigger.

    So it’s nice to catch it before hand with the scanguage.

    Plus 24 means it’s running lean but when the methonal kicks it it’s running perfect

    that’s awesome. That scan gauge is useful. It tells you. Then you drive the truck to get repaired or maintained. That’s pretty cool.

    I highly recommend something like the Scangauge or an OBDII plug-in with a scanner app on your phone. You can read all that stuff in real time and see a problem before it gets worse. Like an AFR gauge except you can monitor many things at once.

    The Scangauge is nice because you don't have to rely on using your phone, but they're more expensive.
