I know we get a little off topic sometimes, but that was out in left field.

I thought I could improvise and declare my interest to all these 2020 buyers about an unwanted 2020 SR5 grille.

    Holy crap.....
2020 TRD Off Road 4*4 Short Bed Auto with Premium Package and Advanced Technology package. ..... In Hawaii $43,500 every option minus the Tonneau Cover.

To be honest buddy, they pricing the TRD PRO here for $48,000...

I think you paid a tad bit high :-(

I bought my 2016 TRD OffRoad 4*4 cloth seats few options for 34,500 OTD.

I thought Paying a tad north of 42k was crazy. Now that you told me 50k I feel alot better

FYI Hawaii is really only one option for Toyota. They have a monopoly. BUT everyone drives a Tacoma here.... So it's an easy buy. No haggling, pretty upfront pricing you get like 1k wiggle room if you try hard enough.

If you read his whole post he probably didn’t pay any more than you. His 50k includes ttl, extended warranty and a dealer added lift which probably includes wheels/tires.

That's awesome news, probably takes about 3 or 4 weeks to get from Texas to up your way.

I went to the dealership to test drive a 2019/2020 TRD Sport yesterday. They had a beautiful Voodoo Blue 2020 automatic that I drove. I'm pretty happy about it but I want a manual so I built one though their system.

    2020 Tacoma TRD Sport
    4WD, 3.5L V6 Engine, 6 Speed Manual
    Double Cab, 5-ft Bed

    MSRP: 35,335

    Voodoo Blue
    Cloth

No Packages, I don't like the lane assist and the backup beeper is not worth $800.

Accessories: All Weather Floor Mats, Truck Bed D-Rings.

    Total: 36,654.

I didn't finalize anything because I wanted to think about it and get my ducks in a row.

Is there anything in this process that y'all wish you knew before hand? Any Accessories you wish you would have purchased? How much flexibility did you get on your price once it was delivered?

Thanks for your help, I hope to be around for awhile.

In terms of timing I have always bought all my Toyota's in March. This is the end of the Toyota sales/fiscal year and when dealers are pushing to get to the next awards level recognition for the following year allotment of models as well as corporate kickback incentives for their annual performance... the trick if finding a dealer that is close to a major sales milestone ...

That's why I bought mine. But it turns out a DCLB has the turning radius of an aircraft carrier.

i bought my 2017 SR5 DCLB 2WD brand new in August 2016 for 31K OTD and they threw in tint and a yeti cooler 35? for $100. I feel like OP might be getting shafted for 37K for SR5 4X4. I'm located in Texas though, don't know how different the markets are.

What annoys me is everyone is screaming about 1st WORLD problems. LOL..

    First World prob·lem

    noun
    INFORMAL
    plural noun: First World problems

    1. a relatively trivial or minor problem or frustration (implying a contrast with serious problems such as those that may be experienced in the developing world).
"it's a First World problem, but still if you're staying at a 5-star resort you expect some decent service"

$4500 stereo head unit which may or may not work. You can get an aftermarket for $700 and sell your original for almost as much.
