To me, that looks like trailer rash. It isn’t consistent with a crash from my experience. Those are nice bikes.

Purchased this 2015 Yamaha Bolt C-Spec with 10k miles on Sunday. The seller is getting ready to go oversees and wanted to part with it quickly. I scooped it up for a whopping $2,500. I figure I'll ride it through the winter and then sell it in the spring for a small profit.

That is nothing, regular wear and tear. Dealer would charge 9.5-10k all day long. Would offer 8k. But stress real hard the damage when negotiating.
I continue to be jealous of your collection LOL. Few more years till I retire and the kids are outta the house and its on. I had to sell the dirt bike last week because I just wasnt' using it enough to justify, and the damn front wheel won't stay down.

Going to look at a Dyna tommorrow. You guys fit those things easily onto the back of a longbed? Only put dirtbikes and streetbikes back there before, which is easy at 400 pounds max, dyna is substantially more than that - really going to test my alumnium ramp

Should I buy a 2013 Daytona 675 for $6,500 or a 2011 Yamaha r6 for $5,500...both have 3k miles....the 675 will need a new oil pan gasket. I’ve googled and YouTubed videos on out these bikes but I need intelligent opinions from people that have good taste in vehicles.

thats a hard decision.. I like the triple on the triumph, but the R6 is reliable, and parts are cheap. In my experience the R6 will be roughed on more, because they are more available/people dont know about Triumphs

About 600 pounds. Should fit with the tailgate down though. Why not take a buddy with you and ride that thing home?

Is the $1000 more dollars worth it for abs, quick shifter and Öhlins suspension?

One factor that’s preventing me from going all in on the triumph is the owner seems shady and didnt really seem honest (bragged about having a raptor and collecting Rolex’s)

It depends on what you want to do with it, for a street rider the Triumph would be fairly nice, but as fatfurious said, it will not be as reliable. R6 would be a better track bike due to availability of parts. The daytona vs R6 question is harder to answer than the Street Triple vs FZ07 or Speed Triple Vs FZ09 as both those bikes are vastly better than the Yamahas (although the FZ09 does have something unexplainably fun and rowdy about it).

I personally dont like ABS, but I get it from a safety perspective.

How will you be using the bike? just street?

I definitely think that stuff is nice. I havent done anything on the track though. Im sure those help for both. And on the R6, it would be more of an investment.

My 1990 KLR 650B "Tengai" Kawasaki imported 100 of these KLR derivatives in 90 & 91. Some differences from the regular KLR. Full fairing, painted plastic, low front fender, larger front brake caliper. Acerbis style guards on discs & calipers. Pretty rare to see in the US. They had a longer production run in other countries and came in more attractive colorways. This one came from the Baltimore area, it has about 13K miles. I have had it about 10 years. I agree it looks like some sort of trailer rash or even a knock or two in the garage. I think his asking price is a bit high. I'd start at $7000 but the cost of things are different depending on where you're located.

That being said, I love my 09' Street Triple

To have similar parts as the Triumph. Like Brembo and Ohlins

Cool bike! We do a lot of KLR suspension parts and have shipped some overseas tor that variant. I have never seen one and am always worried about differences to our US/Canadian versions that might impact what we do. I like it, a unique motorcycle.

Every time I ride a customer Street Triple I think it could be one of the best street bikes ever built for mountain roads around here. The 675 is really a track bike in my view.
