Well, young lady, just watching what I hoped would be a good football game, sucking up beverages, and waiting for the 10 PM news and coffee making time. I was semi useful today, and just spread out more stuff on the "sorting table" in the garage mess. I'll get serious soon, really I will!
    How have you been doing?

Yeah I need to see both of those still. When I was in high school I didn't have cable so late at night I'd watch Alfred Hitchcock Presents a lot, among other anthology sci-fi/horror/thriller shows like the Dark Side, the Outter Limits and if course Twilight Zone

Then if you go further back into my childhood it was all about Goosebumps and Are You Afraid of the Dark?

Ok just very busy .. Or at least it seems that way....I did laundry this morning, had lunch with my oldest, talked to one of her teachers about her grade, set an appointment for my youngest for tomorrow because she sounds horrible, made a Vietnamese soup and spring rolls for dinner, did dishes like 4 damn times today, got the kids to bed... All while feeling blah

Staples of my youth - those shows were. B.C (Before Cable), in Kalamazoo, we could get a Detroit station with Dr. Ghoul on Sat Night late. Grade B Sci-Fi and 50's "horror" when it was just bad monster movies. Stoners could watch without fear. And would stay up just for the sign off: "Do it While You Can, but DON'T get Caught!"

Gotcha! Now I understand! Truly, I do! The body count in mass graves across Bosnia was unreal enough that you wanted to forget about it. Wait, did I say that!? :anonymous:

Watched all, what like 18 of those films! Don't know how many really, but just because I grew up watching them I continued to do so. LOL!

Thanks for reminding me to add run the dishwasher to my list! I hope your daughters reading issues have improved! Carol actually went to the Superintendent office for a meeting about that in Lockhart, but he palmed her off to someone with no training. Pissed us off. I successfully reheated my Lasagna, with a nice wife made salad!
I have been kind of "blah" and slow myself for several weeks now, and I am tying it back to too many hours in the garage one day when it was 100+. Body is still "hot" to me, and energy is hard to come by. But, I should eat better.
    Hugs and best to you!

She is doing much better! In fact all her grades are over 80% minus one which we are working hard on fixing.

Hope you get your energy back soon! Your dinner sounds yummy!

I am so glad to hear that and will tell Carol. Will make her day. I love my microwave Lasagna, this time had hot Italian sausage as the meat. Takes a whole half hour in the nuke, and 15 minutes prep. You could feed everyone for weeks on the 11 x 17 pan!

Nope, nope, and nope. Real life like that, I have no idea how you would handle such things, and I have the ultimate respect for your putting that in your heads. I really understand how hard it is to come back from that, because I have had friends coming home with memories like that since 1970. It's hard, damn hard.
But you all are amazing. Just amazing.
