Lift for my tacoma

Hello everyone!

i am new to the forum and also a first time Tacoma SR5 2WD. I am loving the truck in every way possible.

now the reason I am writing this post it’s because I work in the oilfield and the lease roads (rig roads) that I’ve been working at have been nasty and bumpy and I’ve been wanting to add new set of tires (A/T) of course and lift my truck a little more to have more clearance. I want to do suspension since that’s my best bet of not messing my truck and from all the research I’ve done.

Research away good sir. You’ll get different opinions from everyone. Your best bet is researching off of your needs.

 

If you add some Weathertech mud flaps, and Lund 5” oval steps, you’ll protect the sides from rock chips.

Some of those all terrain tires like to grab and throw rocks.
