The same shit everyone else has.
Finished up the wiring for the retrofit refresh.

Started on a set of black out curtains for the camper shell. Finally figured out an easy way to mount em since the camper shell isn’t carpeted.

Ordered an inner CV boot kit.

I'm curious to see your blackout curtains. My camper shell is carpeted so I was thinking about using Velcro but I'm interested in other ideas.

I’ll post pictures and details once it’s 100% finished.

The carpeted shell should be super easy, just use the hook side of some Velcro and sew it to whatever you chose to make the curtains out of.

I should have noted that I have an aftermarket HU.

    ^This.

If I do anything else audio related it will be a small sub somewhere and/or some component speakers for the front. My driver side door speaker has been cutting out lately, so I may just need to get an amp and run some new wire . Hopefully I don't have to go that route though.

Finally got around to hiding my garage door opener. I used this button I picked up through eBay; Amazon has similar ones. I liked that it has a halo light which I have connected with the dash lights. I mounted it in one of the filler inserts to the left of the steering wheel. The opener clips on the top of the fuse box tray and works just fine.

I REALLY like this! I'll be the lazy guy who doesn't search first. Do you have a write-up on how you did this?

What you need to do is open up your remote and find the switch that operates the door. It may be an actual switch or just traces on the circuit board that a carbon pad shorts out. Use a piece of wire to short between the contacts until you find the two that cause the door to open. Attach (solder) wires to these two contacts and run them out the remote; you'll probably have to file a notch for clearance. These then get connected to the external switch. For the light in this particular switch, there's a small resistor that comes with it, it gets soldered to the + terminal of the switch, then from the other end of the resistor to 12V. The - terminal gets connected to ground.

    Hope that helps.

I did try looking it up and didn't find anything. Most of my results talked about adding another push button to a wall somewhere. I figured it would require disassembly of the remote to see how the button works.

Any Mods? One. Maybe two, tops...
I did that MOD myself, and it's awesome! So, just spit-balling here... did you take out ALL of the slack on the cable?? (springs should be all compressed)
