I know what is a cassette. I recorded music from radio stations to my cassettes.
Used Walkman cassette and CD players and STILL buy cds and play them on my truck. So definitely not a millennial. I’m from 87.

STEM dominates our economy, there isn't much of a need for skilled labor from a blue collar sense as most of those jobs are outsourced overseas. Even basic trade skills are dying out, not because they aren't needed but because the average Joe can learn how to do it on Youtube.

Gen X here, 1967. This is my first Tacoma, but 2nd Toyota. I had a 1980 Hilux from 1987-1997.

The good ole days! Trying to pause recording just before the radio commercials aired, winding cassette tapes with pencils/pens, watching/recording movies on VHS, etc.

I was stoked to see a CD player in the 3rd Gen! I keep a CD case in my back seat. On the other hand, I sometimes stream from my TuneIn app. We’re in-betweeeners.

The pole results are interesting but not surprising. The majority of drivers on the road are either Gen-X or Millennial, meaning between 25 and 55 years old. There's likely a few vehicle makes and models who's distribution would be skewed toward the young or the old, based on price or style. Since Tacoma's fall more or less in the middle of the new vehicle price range, this distribution isn't surprising.

Well in fairness, considering the sales price of a tacoma, I'd wager ~25 is where most working professional people can start to potentially afford a late model tacoma if they don't splurge on avacado toast  Over 55 I see people driving "Big 3" trucks around here if they need a truck, or smaller sedans just to get around town.

I'm from '95 but I feel that I have my stuff together more than most people from pre 1990, let alone my old peers from high school. I have a good solid career and have been financially independent for a very long time. It's all the lazy people who have given hardworking people like myself a bad reputation and categorized us into the same group as "millennials" and/or "Gen Z" which carry negative connotations.

1981 here. I've always identified as Gen-X but I selected Xennial, which seems to fit me better. One foot in both gens.

This poll may be inherently biased just because of the technology itself. I know a lot of Gen-X and Boomers that don't have smart phones, let alone use forums. I was pretty resistant to getting a smart phone until a couple years ago when it was required for my job.

Yes and this is why we have become a rich nation with a majority of straight up pussies.

I absolutely agree and think there should be a separate classification for the two.
