lot more options for pre 18’ grilles. Tough to know what aftermarket designs allow the tss to work properly

Just be like that one dude did with his pro grill, remove the letters and grid from center, and pop in some fog lights. Haven't seen many do that, then again, he had to custom build his own frame to hold the lights at location.

Pro grill is still one of the best OEM styles grills out there Second place would be the SR/SR5 grill with black surround and modified logo. Though, all personal opinion.

All I know is TacoGarage supplies a high quality pro grill.

Good news, you don’t have to buy one.

There are many options. Look around on this site and you’ll find them.

Obviously, these are very nice or they wouldn’t be so popular. The downside is that they are so popular now that there is a sort of reverse snobbery backlash thing. . .

If the grille sticking out like an inch reminds you of a boner, then my condolences.

Have you created a 2020 grill to accommodate the new front camera system?

That was the real reason I went with AJ’s Pro grill. There were a couple others that I considered because they were unique and very cool looking but the reports on the TSS working properly weren’t 100%. I didn’t want any problems so went with AJ’s pro and it has been trouble free from the moment of installation.

They're nice, but I wanted something different. I mean, it still has the look of the Pro grille, but at least its somewhat unique.

18MY+ OEM grilles can be had for $250+/-. Never bought one from FreshMexicanTaco, but the two aftermarket ones that I bought from Ebay and Madhornets were complete crap. Finally bought an OEM one and couldn't be happier.

The OEM cheese grater looks terrible. I like the retro Toyota nod but honestly if the OR came with the SR matte grille and surround, I'd have been completely happy with it. It's just that it was cheaper for me to get the Pro than the SR and surround.

I have a 19 O/R and I dont have the garnish at the bottem of the grill. The Toyota logo on the grill is covered in plastic. Would one of these grill work for my truck? I have the radar cruise also but no lower garnish. TIA

There is no garnish on your grill because your TSS is located behind the Toyota logo. The reason for the garnish is that on the pro grill the TSS is located behind the garnish below where it would be on the oem OR grill. Yes, this would work on your vehicle. You just have to move the TSS to the new location behind th garnish.

They are two cosmetically different designs that work this same way

I ordered it with the OEM garnish installed - which he had at the time. I don’t know if he has any left so you might want to check with him directly.
