More than likely it is the same animal, looking for heat from you rig. What i have done in the past, is bait some regular mouse traps with wet kitty food, it will only take one time and they will never mess with your truck again. It does not hurt them, just scares the shit out of them. Do not put the trap on the truck, or you will have scratch marks on the truck from where they ran scared shitless. put them around the front and other places you think they are coming from. it works trust me.

Good idea. I think I will give it a shot. But its definitely 2 different ones that I have seen. ill try this first. Then tiger piss. And if I have to get out the 400 fps airsoft gun I suppose I will. Keep the ideas coming. This is interesting.

i had that problem and cayenne pepper sprinkled across the hood totally did it for me. Cats especially hate pepper powder.

i'm a pretty big cat lover/animal lover in general. having said that, the daisy bb gun idea is a good one. it will sting without actually hurting the cat. just dont hit it in the eye

Super soakers and hoses with sprayers work well too. Firecrackers also give them quite a scare too. I hate cats.

Thing is they are only doing this at night. I sometimes catch the ass end of it leaping off my truck when I go to work in the morning. Unless I special ops their ass I wont get the chance to spray them or bb gun the little bastards.

The cats around here pee on everything and it stinks bad. So we bought some traps to catch the little bastards. When we catch them we haul them about thirty miles south of town and let em go. Before we got the traps we would shoot them with a bb gun. I always wanted to use the pellet rifle but didn't want to risk not killing the thing on the spot and it running home an dieing on the neighbors front porch.:D :infantry:

Be careful scaring them off your truck (running out of your house yelling at them). Those little bastards have claws and can scratch the hell out of your hood. They'll be light scratches but its just adding insult to injury. I saw try the pepper.

Paintball guys are effective also, plus it's funnier than hell to have multi-color cats all around the neighborhood! My old man did that to keep the cats out of his yard and there were yellow and green spotted cats all around for a couple weeks.

But what if the Tiger piss attracts Tigers to your truck? It's going to be a lot harder to get off a tiger vs. a cat.

You guys should really think things through before you do them, thank god I'm here to save the day.

Not much yet, got a pretty good sound system w/ my custom sub box. Plan on adding more lights & a tool box.
Get a couple of motion detector lights & a couple screw-in outlet. Then find whatever you want to plug into the motion detector. Noise, water. Kitty sets off the detector, it activates the widget, kitty wet/scared.

    this!

I wrote a paper for my college english class on how to manage the overpopulation of feral cats in neighborhoods.

    pellet guns :D

but seriously, talk to your neighbor about the problem, if they are not willing to cooperate then you should not feel so bad about ending that cats life. or at least trapping it

get some of those sticky fly traps and put them on your truck with a rug or something underneath. i have seen a cat get one of those things stuck on him and he did not look happy

im so glad i found this thread. we have a cat that we dont have the heart to kill, but is an outdoor cat year round. about a month after getting my license i found 4 huge scratches that resembled a claw each one about 7 inches long. airsoft gun does the trick but i do like the idea of pepper powder.

Nuke the bastards...Cats are worthless creatures anyways and deserve to die....oops did I say that?....

Just keep calling animal control to come trap them...eventually your neighbor will get the picture when they have to keep picking up their cat from the pound.

    1.Talk to your neighbor
    2. Call Animal Control
    3.Trap them yourself & relocate
    4. Shoot the fury little bastards

If you get to #4 you shouldn't feel bad about it, if your neighbor gave a shit about his little furballs he could remedy the problem himself before then. You will have put forth more effort than most, I would probably shoot them after #1, but I hate cats with a passion.
