Awesome. I may take you up on that. I’m going to keep looking around and see if I find anything but I’ll let ya know. It would be the week of November 4th. I will provide beer (or $ but who wants that..) in exchange

I might should have mentioned that neither of the mtn bikes has a motor attached. They are both pedal power only. Be advised.

Anyone have any recommended company's for getting a concrete driveway and garage floor replaced in the Westminster (really, North Denver) area?

On a not-unrelated note - my truck currently does not fit within the garage with the RTT on, by about 1". How crazy would it be to dig out beneath the current garage floor and have the new floor poured ~6" lower? Yes, that would require a new garage door, trim work, etc. etc. etc.

Are you trying to use the garage daily or just when you need to do work? If it's just to do work and you're that close, just air down. Obviously not a practical solution for daily parking but it's been working for me for a few years now when I need to turn wrenches.

Likely not that easy. Garage floors are not something that they just put wherever they fall. They are tied into the structure of the walls. You might could have a recessed section in the middle but even that presents a pretty good amount of challenges.

Yeah, I was wondering if it'd be something like that. Wasn't sure if it would be just a floating slab between the foundation bits, or connected. Ahh well, was a stretch goal anyway.

Garage slab is independent of the garage walls, you could have them go deeper for you, but remember you would have to figure in a price for a new garage door and framing for it as well.

Another option depending on the height of the garage and the interior space you have available you could go up with the door. I've done a few homes with this method.

    What haven’t I changed?
Pro tip: Making race car engine noises while riding a mtn bike is good for another 2-4 HP

    Built wrong if it is....
Should actually be isolated (floating) with a gap made with asphalt fiberboard.
Driveway is usually isolated from garage floor the same way.

I forget things can be different out here in the wild wild west. You see a lot of thickened slabs for garages in TN but we dont have the expansion problems with soils that CO does.

Yep, I have a new set of tires (~5k miles on them), chains, snow brush, MaxTrax have been in the truck for a week. I'm ready to pull Dodge's out of the snow again.
