Sheesh! get a 24-32" tongue extension.
My tires barely touch the water.
You will be glad for it.

Honestly on the one that I use the most frequently it wouldn't matter. It's not even a true boat ramp; just a gravel-y 'beach' of sorts. By the time the boat's deep enough to float off of the trailer the nose of the truck is probably 15 feet from shore.

    I can’t remember for sure.
But I think there may be a couple junction connections behind the passenger kick panel.
Depending on how high the water was, it wouldn’t hurt to pull the panel off an check for moisture. (it’s easy)

That would increase my popularity immensely. Where can I get one?

Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
If water got into the cab pull the carpet back and throw some dielectric grease on all the connectors that were submerged.. water in connectors can sometimes turn into electrical nightmares a few years down the road
