Lower? $160 for both, complete, including 4 wheel covers for the stock alloy wheels.

They probably carry the Mevotech rebranded SPCs right? Those are a good deal for the previous design...the recent SPCs are all forged and really expensive. I have the previous ones I got a couple years ago in a group buy for around $420. Been great, no issues with them

I've put off UCA's; I should buy some for when I go EXT travel up front.

    Priorities :pout:

Forged ones? Now that I think about it I dunno if they redesigned the 1st gen arms to be all forged, might've just been 2nd/3rd gen ones

Don't get uniballs unless you want to deal with squeaks unless you lube and clean them all the time

JBAs are priced better but have less adjustability. But they have greasable arm bushings which the SPCs don't.

    Don't they last longer though?

I'm all for paying a bit more so I have to replace shit less often; the squeaking alone though is enough to turn me away.

My Dakar's have squeaked even less since I lubed the pads up.

Should I bring my LCA's for you when I head down? I also have extra grease that Sergio recommended me to buy; I bought like 10 of those small packets.

Uniballs are stronger yeah, but I've been wheeling my SPC uppers for 2.5 years now and haven't had any issues with the ball joint. And you get better articulation with a ball joint.

I think the uniballs are better for the go-fast guys that need that extra strength and don't mind all the race truck noises

Supposed to be stronger which is a big plus if you're hard on your truck

Just because I read it doesn't necessarily make it true lol. But it is what I've been told

Yeah no worries, keep me updated!

Seeing as how you've pulled your axle out so many damn times, an LCA swap should be..how do you put it..."nothin' but a thang" for you

Those trips to the mall are as hard as I am on my truck; I'll stay away from Uniball

I just did my LCA's about 2 weeks ago to lube my bushings again, and about 3-4 months before that when I first swapped in new Whiteline bushings.

I was able to turn the cam/bolt and get it out.

I'm assuming they've been out before and turned the other way?

Only PITA part was being careful not to tear my LBJ boot; I just put on new LBJ's at the time I put in new bushings.

yeah I ruined a brand new LBJ once by taking it off to get a broken bolt out of the spindle, boot got pinched and split open. Was much disappoint

I'll look under tomorrow since it's my day off and take pics.

I even bought SPC cam bolts in the event that I had to cut off my factory ones; fortunately they weren't seized or rusted so I chose to reuse them.

I need to replace my rear brake line with the extended one I've had for many months. I'm afraid I might go gorilla on it and strip something but maybe it'll just work out. Got a whole bunch of line/flare wrenches too that I've yet to ever use.

    I can't like that.

Damn LBJ's aren't cheap for our trucks.
